When he saw her

When he saw her He was on his lunch break. Taking a walk through the center of town. Looking for someplace to stop and eat. It was a spring day. Flowers are blooming. The grass; the trees were green again. There was this fresh new start in the air. He was minding his own business. Just needed to have some lunch before getting back to work. When, he saw her. The moment he cast his eyes upon her. He was lost forever. He slammed up against a wall. Dizzy and confused. There was this ache inside. This pain. Somehow, he felt without. This loneliness inside. This longing. He felt his knees buckle. His heart racing. Almost bursting from his chest. Adrenaline rushes through his veins. He closed his eyes for a moment. And when, he opened them. She was gone! She had disappeared! It almost brought him to tears. What had happened to this woman! Where did she go? He quickly looked at his watch! To see the time! To remember this moment! To remember where he was. To come back tomorrow. To this very same place! This very same moment! His night was restless. He couldn't sleep. He just tossed and turned all night long. The next morning, he was exhausted. But, he had to get up. He had to start his day. Move forward moment by moment. Until, he was again at that exact time! That exact place he saw her! His day was distracted; unfocused. He couldn't concentrate on his job. He accomplished nothing that morning! Only agonizing with thoughts as to whether he would see her again. Finally lunch had arrived. He rushed out of his office. His heart again pounding in his chest. Would she be there? Just like yesterday. Would he see her again? His mind flooded with thoughts of her. Finally, he was there. That same time! That same spot, he saw her before! He waited for what seemed like forever. His eyes drifting through the crowd of people passing him by. Walking the streets. Then, all of a sudden. There she was! There she was again! His had the brightest smile! His eyes welled up with tears. He quickly wiped them away. Without hesitating, he stepped up to her. Said, hello! Their eyes met. She said, hi! He reached out his hand. Just to touch her. Just to bring some part of himself closer to her. Telling her his name. Their hands touched. Electricity surged through them as if struck by a bolt of lightning! They had lunch together. They laughed and talked. But it was soon time to go. They couldn't pull away from each other. They couldn't end this moment. This meeting. But, they had to. They embraced! They kissed! They had fallen in love the moment that they saw each other!
